Issue

  • I want to place a date type item in the structure and set the initial value to "today (new post date)", but I can only set a fixed date as the initial value.
  • Can I set the date dynamically?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0+

solution

  • Only fixed values can be set for the "Initial value" property of date type.
  • In the<setting>of the date type, changing the "Required" property to "Yes" will automatically set the date to "today".
