I cannot add a relative URL into Form's "Redirect URL on Success"

Issue

  1. Create a Liferay Form
  2. Open the Form's Settings
  3. In the field "Redirect URL on Success", enter a relative URL like "/web/guest"

Result: Receive error message "Please enter a valid URL."

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4 below U44

 

Resolution

  • This behavior is fixed by LPS-161353
  • The fix is added to DXP 7.4 U44 (and subsequent updates).
  • For DXP 7.3, you can request a hotfix from Support with this fix.
