I cannot add a parent page in Menu Display using the Pages Hierarchy

Issue
- I have an issue with the Menu Display Widget. When I try to select a parent menu in the configuration tab, the preview doesn’t change and after saving the configuration the Pages hierarchy is reset.
Reproduction Steps:
- Add a widget page "1"
- Add a widget page "2" child from "1"
- Add a widget page "3" child from "2"
-
( 1 > 2 > 3)
- Go to page "3".
- Add a Menu Display widget.
- Configure the Menu Display, select:
a. Select Navigation: Pages Hierarchy
b. Start with Menu Items In: Select Parent
c. Menu Item: select page "2", and then click on Save.
Expected result: The Menu Display shows "2" as start page for the menu.
Actual result: The Menu Display shows "1" as start page for the menu.
Environment
- Liferay Quarterly Release 2025.q1.2-lts
Resolution
- The case has been addressed and resolved by LPD-50258. Please upgrade to 2025.q1.4-lts or request a hotfix.
