Issue

  • A space exists between the currency symbol and a product value when displaying Commerce Product prices (e.g., $ 15.00)

Environment

  • Liferay DXP and Commerce

Resolution

  • If you would like to remove the space between the currency symbol and values, please perform the following steps:

    1. Go to Commerce > Currencies

    2. Choose the currency that is in use (e.g., US Dollar)
    3. In the US Dollar example, check the "Format Pattern" field, and adjust the default value which is showing $ ###,##0.00 to $###,##0.00 (notice the absence of the trailing space between the $ symbol and the first # symbol).
    4. After saving this setting, go back to the Commerce site to review the change.
