Issue

In this article, we'll know how to display logs of web content and user creation in the server console.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1

Resolution

For Web Content logs:

  • Navigate to Control Panel→ Server Administration→ Logs Level and change the log level of 'com.liferay.journal.api' class to All.

For User creation logs:

  • Navigate to Control Panel → Configuration → System Settings → Audit (in Security section). In the 'System Scope' column on the left, select 'Logging Message Audit Message Processor' and check the 'Enable' and 'Output to console' options and Save.
