Issue
- When trying to save a large form, the following error is pushed out, "The Page was not displayed because the entity was too large."
- This is common for environments that are using a V1 Web Application Firewall that is enabled on an Azure Application Gateway in a Liferay server. The maximum size that the request body can be is 128KB.
Resolution
- Unfortunately, reducing the payload size is not an option.
- The workaround available would be through customization or by disabling the body inspection in the Web Application Firewall (which should be avoided due to security purposes). This customization would involve limiting the request body of forms to 1MB and will need to be handled at your own discretion.
