Filter By Field is not working for Booleans in Asset Publisher

Issue

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create a structure with two fields(text and boolean) and also create a template for it in a Global site.
    2. Go to "Liferay DXP" site and create two new WebContents with previous structure and check the boolean for the first one and leave uncheck for the second one.
    3. Drop an Asset Publisher on page, and configure it to show Web Content Article > Asset Filter. Now, check the option for "Filter by field" and select a new field.
    4. In the field selector screen, click on the boolean, checked it and apply to save it.

    Expected Behavior: The boolean is showed on the configuration screen as "Yes".
    Actual Behavior: The boolean is showed on the configuration screen as "No". If we open again the field selector screen we will see the boolean field is unchecked.

  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue/bug.
  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting hotfix by attaching patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to install this hotfix in the respective environment.
