Issue

  • How to enable DKIM signatures for emails sent from Liferay.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • DKIM signatures are configured on the mail server, not in Liferay DXP.
  • Email security standards like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC require adding DNS records (TXT records) for your domain. Liferay DXP requires no additional configuration for these features.
  • For information on configuring Liferay DXP to connect to your mail server, see Configuring Mail.
  • Consult your mail server's documentation for specific instructions on enabling DKIM. For example, if using Google Workspace, see Set up DKIM.
