Issue

  • The duplicate values and empty fields are found in the XLIFF file while translating the Web Content in Q3.2.
  • However, there are no duplicates found in the earlier version i.e. 7.3 u28. The issue occurred after upgrading DXP version from 7.3 u28 to Q3.2.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create nested structure, template, and web content in 7.3 u28.

2. Upgrade from 7.3 u28 to Q3.2.

3. Export the file for translation from Q3.2 and see that there are few empty fields in the XLIFF file.

4. Import the same exported file (Step3) in Q3.2 and see few duplicates and empty fields in the web content on UI.

5. Finally, export the file for translation and see duplicates and empty fields in the XLIFF file.

Expected behavior: Duplicate values and empty fields should not be generated in XLIFF in Q3.2.
Actual behavior: Duplicate values are getting generated in XLIFF in Q3.2.
