Issue
- There are assets in Liferay that are downloaded in multiple ways:
- hyperlinks
- images with links
- Documents and Media browser
- I can only see downloaded assets if they are downloaded using the Documents and Media browser. Is this the expected behavior?
Resolution
- By default, Analytics only tracks assets to which the necessary Javascript code and HTML tags are added. From out of the box, this works for the Documents and Media browser's Download button.
- For other assets, please see the articles below to understand what tags are needed to be added to assets, and what kind of Javascript code is needed to add tracking to any other assets.
