Issue

  • Are AngularJS applications compatible with Liferay?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4

Resolution

  • Any frontend JavaScript framework that comprises of static js and css files is compatible.
  • This means Angular, AngularJS, React, Vue, and similar frameworks will work. However, frameworks like NextJs which have a backend component will likely not work with an out of the box version of Liferay.
