Issue

  • When publishing web content to a live site, the following DL Reference may be observed:
  • $dl-reference=/group/123456/com.liferay.document.library.kernel.model.DLFileEntry/123456789.xml$
  • The root cause of this behavior deals with the JournalArticleExportImportProcessorCache, which was implemented in an earlier version of Liferay to improve the performance of the export/import/publishing processes.

Environment

  • DXP 7.2
  • DXP 7.3
  • DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This error can be intermittent, and sometimes can be resolved after republishing the web content. However, the following steps can be taken to prevent this issue from occurring:
    • Upgrade to the following versions of DXP:
      • DXP 7.2 Fix Pack 20
      • DXP 7.3 Update 12
      • DXP 7.4 Update 40
        OR
    • Request LPS-160854 and LPS-160863 to be added to a hotfix (for 7.2 and 7.3 only).
