Issue

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • Liferay requires reading from and writing to the database. Therefore, the Liferay database user must have permission to read and write data.
  • Additionally, when setting up Liferay for the first time, it is always recommended to grant full rights for the Liferay DXP database user to do anything to the database (full database permissions).
