Issue
- A site under Staging has a form and a data provider ready to be published to Live.
- When publishing to Live, the form and the data provider are selected for publication.
- Result: The form is shown in Live but the data provider is not.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2
Resolution
- This issue can occur when the data provider to be published to Live is not used as part of any Selection fields of a form in Staging.
- Only data providers that are explicitly used in form fields will be actually selected for publication.
- The option to include data providers might be checked when preparing the publication to Live, but this just means that explicitly used data providers will be published, not all of them.
- So to ensure that the required data providers are published to Live, make sure they're being used in forms of the same site.

Note: If data providers are used in forms of other sites, they won't be included either.
