Issue
- After activating the option Enable View Count Increment in System Settings → Web Content → Web Content Display, the counter remains at 0.
Resolution
- In Liferay DXP 7.2 the following properties in portal-ext.properties should be enabled:
view.count.enabledview.count.enabled[AssetEntry]

In Liferay DXP 7.3 and 7.4 these properties have been moved to System Settings → Infrastructure → View Count.
- By default all entities (asset entries, etc) are enabled when View Count is enabled.
