Issue
- When I checkout an order as a guest, on the checkout page the Country and Region drop-downs are wrongly populated, showing "undefined" for every country/region name
Resolution
- The problem is that the methods used to fetch this information are not added in Service Access Policies
-
Country Issue :
{"exception":"Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceCountryService#getShippingCommerceCountriesByChannelId","throwable":"java.lang.SecurityException: Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceCountryService#getShippingCommerceCountriesByChannelId","error":{"message":"Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceCountryService#getShippingCommerceCountriesByChannelId","type":"java.lang.SecurityException"}}
Region Issue:
{"exception":"Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceRegionService#getCommerceRegions","throwable":"java.lang.SecurityException: Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceRegionService#getCommerceRegions","error":{"message":"Access denied to com.liferay.commerce.service.CommerceRegionService#getCommerceRegions","type":"java.lang.SecurityException"}}
- Therefore, add/enable these methods (or the whole package) to the service access policies and the drop-downs should be properly populated after that
