Issue
- A known issue related to clustering with environments using Open ID Connect has been identified wherein the number of scheduled jobs may be mismatched on each node. This may cause a performance impact, or a loss of user sessions if a node is taken offline or experiences a crash.
- This is caused by the session data being stored as MEMORY_CLUSTERED jobs which can cause logins to become slower on environments using OIDC for authentication.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.2, 7.3, 7.4
Resolution
- As this is a known issue, it will be resolved in a future update.
- We have a temporary fix available, so please create a Help Center ticket requesting a hotfix including LPS-162500 which will serve as a workaround while our Product Team builds a complete solution.
