Issue
- Layout templates can be chosen in the configuration of widget pages to specify the columns and rows where widgets will be placed.
- When trying to select another layout template (deployed inside a custom theme or on its own) the previous layout template is still selected.
- There's no error message in the interface or the logs.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.4, 7.3, 7.2, 7.1, 7.0
Resolution
- This issue can arise if the theme selected for the widget page or for the public/private pages is not available (because it's not deployed or for some other reason).
- Make sure the themes associated to the widget page and the public/private pages are deployed and available.
