Cannot save identical content in localization of a field

Issue

• Users cannot save identical content in the localization of a field. Steps are as follows:
  1. Create an article using the basic web content structure
  2. Write "Test" in the content field and publish
  3.  Add a translation (for example Spanish) and change the content field value to "Test ES" and publish
  4. Go back into the article, change the Spanish translation to "Test" and publish
  5. Open the web content to editing one more time

Expected Result: Spanish translation value is "Test"
Actual Result: Spanish translation value is still "Test ES"

Environment

• Liferay DXP 7.1 Fix Pack 16 or below

Resolution

• The issue is addressed in Liferay DXP 7.1 Fix Pack 17. You can choose to install Liferay DXP 7.1 Fix Pack 17 or versions after Fix Pack 17.
• If a hotfix is preferable, please contact Liferay Support Team and ask to build a hotfix which contains LPS-105571.
