Issue

Resolution

  • No, that is not possible.
  • Actually, the fact that you have to do that indicates an underlying problem. Therefore the best course of action would be to identify and fix the root cause.

  • Furthermore, you can leverage the GarbageCollectorAction, a built-in feature that allows you to schedule garbage collection after specific events, such as user logout (logout.events.post).
    • Additionally, you can enable debug logging for that class (com.liferay.portal.events.GarbageCollectorAction) to gain insights into the garbage collection process.
