Issue
- Currently, Liferay offers 2 Captcha Engines out of the box: Simple Captcha and Google reCaptcha 2
- We would like to use another Captcha service.
Resolution
- At the moment it is not possible to integrate another Captcha Engine out of the box.
- There is an existing Feature Request ticket, which will implement a solution for this: LPS-130467
- In the meantime, it is only possible to add an additional Captcha Engine by modifying core Liferay classes, which is considered customization. Additional support for such an implementation can be requested from our Global Services Team.
