Issue
- When viewing a Calendar portlet in agenda view, you might see events of the next day listed. Or if you step back to the previous day, you also see the events of today listed.
Environment
Resolution
- The Agenda view is not only able to show the events pertaining to the day you are currently viewing, but also upcoming events from the next few days (so that the user can be informed in time of upcoming events). How much in advance does this happen? This is configurable in Configuration -> Display Settings -> Maximum Days to Display.
- This can be set to a value between 1 and 5, with 1 being the default one: that is why you see your event if you view the previous day in Agenda view (but you cannot see it anymore if you go one more day back). In other words, if you set this value to at least 2, and you have an event on e.g Wednesday, when viewing your agenda on Monday, you will see the event for Wednesday being listed under the Wednesday header (see screenshot).
