Issue

  • We have updated our web service to liferaycloud/nginx:1.21.6-5.3.0 or higher and the Automatic log rotation doesn't seem to be enabled

Environment

  • Liferay PaaS

Resolution

  • The feature expects the logs to be in their default volume. If you store your logs elsewhere, you should mount the volume back into /var/log/nginx

Additional Information

  • Please also note that if you use Splunk, you can mount the shared volume in /var/log/nginx
