Issue
- After deploying and restarting, Audience Targeting is not available in site's Configuration > Audience Targeting.
- Tables corresponding to Audience Targeting are not created.
Environment
Resolution
- Look out for a file called com.liferay.portal.upgrade.internal.configuration.ReleaseManagerConfiguration.config in folder $liferay_home/osgi/configs/ with content
autoUpgrade="false"
- If the file exists, either:
- modify the property
autoUpgrade to have value "true", or
- remove or rename the file.
- Attempt installation again now that Audience Targeting can execute the upgrade steps it requires.
