After importing the object to the portal, it's not visible on the 'Fragments and Widgets' option

Issue

• Import the object on the portal, the import was successful but after navigating to the 'Fragments and Widgets' option and searching for the imported object, it's now visible.

Steps:

1. Create a 'Demo' object with 2 text fields and publish it.
2. Navigate to the 'Fragments and Widgets', add the 'Demo' object on the page and it is visible with the 2 text fields.
3. Export the 'Demo' object after clicking on "Export as JSON".
4. Edited the existing 'Demo' object, delete the 1 one field, and save it, now, on the page it shows on one field.
5. Import the 'Demo' Object which is exported in the 3rd step.
6. Now, tried to add the imported object to the page again, and the imported 'Demo' object is not visible in the 'Fragments and Widgets' options.

Environment

• Liferay 7.4 [all updates]

Resolution

• After importing the object to the portal,  the object needs to be activated first before accessing it on the page.
• Please follow the below steps:
  • Navigate to the Control Panel > Objects > edit the 'Demo' object > Details > OBJECT DATA > Enable/Active the object.
  • After following the above step, again navigate to the 'Fragments and Widgets' and search the imported 'Demo' object and it is visible and accessible now.
