Adding proxy properties in the JVM causes images to no longer be visible on the site

Issue

  • After adding the following properties to the environment variables LIFERAY_JVM_OPTS, images on the site are no longer visible.
    • https.proxyHost=
      httpx.proxyPort

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP QR 2024.Q1.10

 

Resolution

  • In order to get the images to appear, the following property must also be added to the VM Option Settings.
    • https.nonProxyHosts=
