Issue

Expected Result:

I expect the Search buttons to have the correct label and for the Screen Reader to announce it with the following announcement:

  • "Search Button"

Actual Result:

the Screen Reader is announcing the Search Button as "Unlabeled zero button"


Steps to Reproduce:
Tools: JAWS Screen Reader
1. Open the main page of a Liferay environment
2. Navigate to 'Open Navigation Menu' > Control Panel > Users and Organizations > Organizations > Add Organization (+ sign)

3. Navigate to the Search button and observe the issue

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This issue has been addressed in U62
  • Please contact Liferay Support to request a hotfix for versions prior to U62
