Issue

  • By default, it is possible to access the pages of the website included with the default installation both with and without /web. This article addresses the need to change the site where this behavior is required, allowing access to the pages of a specific site without /web.

Environment

  • 2024.Q2

Resolution

  • There is a property in portal-ext.properties that governs which Site allows this functionality.
     virtual.hosts.default.site.name

  • The value of the groupKey field in the group_ table must be set for the site that should be accessible without /web.

Additional Information

  • In the following source code link, a brief explanation about property is provided.

  • This behavior can only occur on a single site.
