Issue
- After updating to DXP 7.2 Fix Pack 7, we can't create or edit web content articles that default language is different than the site's language by enabling the "Changeable Default Language" in the System settings, OR
- When the site language is different than the default instance language
- Possible issues:
- After changing the default language and filling the title and content, clicking on Publish will give us the "Error: Please enter a valid title." error.
- An unwanted translation could be added after this failed publication
- The web content's default language changes
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.2 with Fix Pack 7 / 8
Resolution
- It is a known regression issue that has been resolved by LPS-119020
- The fix has been included in Fix Pack 9, therefore please update your environment with Fix Pack 9 or any higher
