Forms Permissions Reference
This article serves as a guide for all permissions associated with the Forms application.
Form Widget Permissions
Navigate to the site page where the Form widget has been deployed. Click the Options icon (
) in the widget header → Permissions.
Note
Before Liferay DXP 2025.Q1/Portal GA132, the Configuration option appeared in the widget’s top-right corner.

| Permissions | View and manage widget permissions for other users |
| Preferences | View and set widget preferences |
| Configuration | Configure the widget, including selecting the displayed form |
| View | View the Form widget |
| Add to Page | Add the Form widget to a site page |
Forms Permissions

Open the Product Menu (
) then click the compass icon (
) on the Site Administration menu. Select the site that contains the form. -
Click Content & Data → Forms.

Click Actions (
) next to the form.

Click Permissions.

| Delete | Delete the form |
| Permissions | View and set the form’s permissions |
| Update | Make changes to the form and edit form entries |
| Add Form Instance Record | Add an entry |
| View | View the form |
