Issue

  • When logging into Liferay, if you log in with your email address + password, you can request a password reset from the login screen.

  • The password reset email text can be edited from the instance settings and is available in multiple languages.

  • What toggles the email that is sent?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0+

solution

  • Reset passwordUser account "language"Switches according to settings.
    If translation is set, the email notification will be sent in Japanese if the account setting is "Japanese" or in English if the account setting is "English".
