Issue
- While this might be a simple thing to do, the way to do this may be unknown to most Liferay users.
Resolution
- Whenever you're first setting up your Liferay DXP server, you'll find the setup wizard section as soon as it launches. In order to add Sample Data to it, you'll need to follow these steps:

- Click on the drop-down menu to alter the database
- If using Hypersonic, you'll need to change the database to whatever it is there to choose and then select Hypersonic again
- Check the "Add Sample Data" option
