Issue

  • Can not install a hotfix built for Liferay DXP 7.3 with baseline dxp-1. Patching tool shows a warning message about missing fixes

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3 with dxp-1

Resolution

  • Please use the parameter -force:
    ./patching-tool.sh install -force or patching-tool install force

 

Additional Information

  • The fix-pack dxp-1 for the Liferay DXP 7.3 has a documentation level error about its included fixes, which leads the Patching Tool not to install hotfixes.
  • It is not a code level error so, please, do not worry as the fixe are there.
