Using the Minium Accelerator to Jump-Start Your B2B Store
Minium is a Liferay Accelerator that quickly sets up a business-to-business (B2B) store designed to meet the needs of a manufacturer. It showcases a modern B2B digital commerce experience with features that make the experience as smooth as possible.
The accelerator bundles together well-designed site pages, sample data, and configurations. Minium also highlights Liferay’s B2B account management functionality, enabling streamlined account management and self-service through the use of account roles, account groups, and order workflows.

Design
The Minium accelerator includes several embedded features like pop-up navigation, cart menus, and an account selector. The navigation menu provides links to the catalog, pending and placed orders, and account management pages, while the cart menu displays the current order. An omni-search bar makes finding products easy.
From the cart menu, users can start the checkout process. The account selector displays accounts the current user can access (administrators can access any account). After selecting an account, its open orders appear. Using this, sales agents and buyers servicing multiple accounts can switch back and forth between their accounts.
Catalog
Minium’s catalog includes a range of sample products organized into several pre-defined categories.
Categories are defined at the Global scope. For more information see Product Categories.
Sample products also have options, specifications, and images.
The sample data is only for demonstration purposes. You can delete it safely if you’re planning to use Minium as the basis for your store.
Search
In addition to the omni-search bar, Minium has a special keyboard shortcut to open the search bar. On the Catalog page, press forward slash / to open and move focus to the search bar.
