Issue

  • After upgrading to Liferay DXP we noticed that a work folder is created in {Liferay_Home}, in addition to {Tomcat_Home}/work directory. Is this the normal behaviour?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0
  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • {Liferay_Home/work} got introduced in Liferay DXP, so it did not exist in versions prior to Liferay DXP 7.0, but the behaviour is intended.
