Issue

  • I get a UIWebView deprecation warning that Apple will stop accepting submission of apps that use UIWebView APIs; Liferay mobile SDK uses the AFNetwroking library which is using UIWebView APIs.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0
  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • We have released a new version for the LiferayScreens and Liferay-iOS-SDK without references to UIWebView.

    • For LiferayScreens a version 5.1.0 has been released. This library uses Liferay-iOS-SDK internally so make sure cocoapods download the version 7.2.3 of Liferay-iOS-SDK.
    • For Liferay-iOS-SDK a version 7.2.3 has been released.
