Issue

  • When trying to upgrade Liferay DXP 7.2 to fixpack dxp-8 or higher, the process fails due to the following error:
ERROR [Portal Dependency Manager Component Executor--1][UpgradeStepRegistratorTracker:184] Failed upgrade process for module com.liferay.asset.display.page.service
java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry 'XXXXXXXXXX' for key 'IX_XXXXXXX'

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2

 

Resolution

  • Request a hotfix with the LPS-122095
