Issue
- When starting up Liferay DXP, the following error message is displayed in logs:
ERROR [main][VerifyProperties:138] Portal property "session.timeout.auto.extend" was modularized to com.liferay.frontend.js.web as "auto-extend"
Environment
- Quarterly Releases: 2024.Q3,2024.Q2,2024.Q1,2023.Q4,2023.Q3
Resolution
- Move the values of the portal properties
session.timeout.auto.extend and session.timeout.auto.extend.offset to Control Panel > System Settings > Platform > Infrastructure > Session Timeout (Site Scope) > Auto Extend Offset and Auto Extend, respectively.
- Afterwards, remove the aforementioned portal properties from your portal-ext.properties file.
