The Patching Tool v22 is a maintenance release which includes fixes and minor updates. This article describes new features added with this release of the patching tool.

Fixes

  • Issue resolved which prevented the patch level from being stored.
  • Issue resolved with patch installation error when the path contained the "properties" keyword
  • Improved file handling

Improvements

  • Added ability to update plugin dependencies when a plugin's war is not exploded
  • Improved appearance of the progress bar
  • The command’s output is visible during the Patching Tool agent action
  • A notification for users who need to re-deploy plugins when changes are made to the portal’s servlet filters
  • Additional debug messages
