Depending on the announcement portlet, there is a function to send an email.
Solution/Proposal
If a user is set up to receive email notifications, notification emails from the Notification Portlet will be sent to that user.
Setting to receive notification e-mails:
You can set up the administrative user or the user himself/herself to receive notifications by e-mail.
- If an administrator sets up:Control Panel > Users > Users and Organizations > Select the user in question > Other tab and check the types of emails you need to receive from
- If the user sets this up himself, go to:Control Panel > My Account > Account Settings > Other tab and check the types of emails you need to receive.
