Issue
- Question: Is it possible to disable Account Settings page for all users.
Environment
Resolution
- Disabling the Account Settings page for all users can be achieved by defining permission for the default User role.
- Detailed steps:
- Log in as Admin user.
- Go to Control Panel -> Users -> Roles.
- Go into edit "User" role page -> Go to the "Define Permissions" tab.
- Expand the left menu "User -> My Account -> Account Settings" (It's changed from DXP 7.2, the menu can be accessed in User -> Account Settings)
- Uncheck "Access in My Account" checkbox -> Save.
