- Is there any configuration to allow Guest / anonymous user add a comment in a Message Boards thread?
Environment
Resolution
- To allow Guest user posting a comment in Message Boards, user can define permissions for the Guest role. Refer to the following steps:
- Go to Control Panel -> Users -> Roles.
- Locate 'Guest' role -> Click the three vertical dots -> Define Permissions
- Go to Site Administration -> Content -> Message Boards in the left menu.
- Add 'Reply to Message' permission under Resource Permissions -> Messages.
- Save.
