Issue
- I try to schedule web content for future publication but it is not displayed on time.
Environment
Resolution
- Check interval should be set correctly. In 7.0 instance there are two Check Interval properties for checking and expiring Web Content articles.
-
The first is under Control Panel > System Settings > Web Experience > Web Content Administration.
- This property sets the interval for how often articles are checked for expiration (15 minutes by default).
-
The second is under Control Panel > System Settings > Web Experience > Web Content.
- This property sets how far into the future we should retrieve articles for expiration (it is set to 900000 milliseconds which is equivalent to 15 minutes as in the first one).
- The 2 properties should be set to the same interval, so if the first is set to 15 min, the second should be set to the equivalent to it in milliseconds (900000ms).
- If the check interval is set in both correctly but still web content is not published the time zone of the server, Liferay and the user's PC should be set correctly.
