Issue
- Create a parent site with two child sites (Child1, Child2).
- Configure the parent site to share contents.
- Add some web contents in the parent site.
- Add an asset publisher in each child site.
- Cannot find a way to display particular web contents from parent site.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3
Resolution
- In parent site, add some tags, one for each child site (child01, child02).
- For each web content in the parent site, assign the tag associated to the child site that the web content would be displayed in.
- In each child site configure an asset publisher as follows:
- Its scope is the parent site.
- It filters by a specific tag: for example, child01 for site Child1 and so forth.
- This way web contents added in parent site are displayed in the chosen child sites.
