Issue

  • On the bulletin board portlet, the subject line cannot be longer than 75 characters.
  • Is it possible to increase the maximum number of characters?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0

Resolution

  • The subject of a forum post is limited to 75 characters..
  • If you want to increase this character limit, you will need to customize it.
  • A feature request LPS-102157 has been created to increase the upper limit..
