Issue

  • If the top-right three buttons > of the Documents and Media portlet are set to something other than "Current page" in the common > portlet URL and page link in the look and feel settings, the PDFfile will appear in the "List" when clicked. file, the "List" will be displayed..

  • I want to open the "file itself", is that possible?.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0

Resolution

  • The "Link portlet URLs to pages" feature is a global feature that is built into the look&field settings for all portlets.

  • When a specific page is selected, all URLs in the portlet are linked to the context of the selected page.

  • Changes only the context.

  • The "Documents and Media" preview on page A is not supposed to work on the portlet on page B.
