Issue

  • After 6.2 > 7.0+ DXP migration, customer may notice that custom AJAX scripts called through Liferay.Portlet.ready are no longer functional

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0+

Resolution

  • Verify if the issue disappears after setting javascript.single.page.application.enabled=false in the portal-ext.properties file and, if it does, re-adapt your custom scripts to be compliant with the DXP feature called Single Page Application
