Unable to Publish Content if there are Missing Page Links - DXP 7.0+

Issue

  • When I disable "Validate Layout References" I receive an error.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0 +

Resolution

If you would like to maintain relative links or allow the validator to ignore the missing file entries, then you can perform the following steps:

In Liferay DXP 7.1 +

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Configuration > System Settings > Platform > Infrastructure
  2. On the left-hand menu, find the option for Export/Import, and select it
  3. Uncheck the 'Validate File Entries' selection, and Save.

In Liferay DXP 7.0

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Configuration > System Settings > Web Experience > Search for Import/Export Service.
  2. Go to Import/Export Service and disable the option for 'Validate File Entries'.

Additional Information

  • The fix: LPS-91233  for this case has been introduced in Liferay 7.1 fix pack 13 and Liferay 7.0 fix pack de-87
