Issue

  • Prior to SP1, it was possible to edit the Navigation ADTs using the following steps:
    1. Navigate to Control Panel > Sites > Sites
    2. For the "Global" site use the 3 dot menu to go to "Site Settings"
    3. Navigate to Site Builder > Widget Templates.
    4. Here you were able to edit all 29 Widget Templates, however now they are not present.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2 SP1

Resolution

  • It is possible to make the missing Navigation Widget Templates reappear using the following steps:
    1. Startup Liferay
    2. Navigate to Control Panel > Configuration > Search
    3. Execute the "Reindex all search indexes" option.
    4. Once it has finished, navigate to Global > Site Builder > Widget Templates.
    5. Observe that 29 structures are now visible.

Additional Information

  • LPS-96956 has been issued to address this behavior in later versions.
