Resolution
Follow these steps to adjust from the .config file
For newly deployed asset publishers after the procedure has been performed, the "Enable email subscriptions" will be set to "No" by default.

Enter emailAssetEntryAddedEnabled="false" and save
$LR_HOMEPlace the created .config in /osgi/configs
